The Past in our Present: Emancipation 2020

Join Caribbean Solidarity Network on Thursday July 30th @ 6pm for a live-stream - The Past in our Present: Emancipation 2020.

2020 has made it clear that the process of emancipation is ongoing, and unfinished. From the global reckoning with colonial monuments, to police brutality and uprisings against anti-Black racism from Morvant to Minneapolis, we will engage with what emancipation means during this turbulent time.

Featuring: Laura George (Guyana), Runako Gregg (Trinidad), Aaron Kamugisha (Barbados) & Filiberto Penados (Belize)
Hosted by: Anyika Mark
